Google Business Profiles can show up in the Google Local Pack, or Google Local Finder.<\/p>\n

The Local Pack is a block of business listings that appears below the map in search result pages. After performing a Google search with local inten\u00adt, this is shown. Initially, three profiles appear, but you can expand them to see more.<\/p>\n

For example, if I search for \u2018landscaper, Walpole,’ something like this will show up. (see image)<\/p>\n

All the businesses listed here appear only because they have a Google Business Profile. The information you can see here was pulled from their GBP listing.<\/p>\n

Your business information appears in Google’s Knowledge Panels. This panel appears at the top right corner of the Google search results when people search for your company’s name.<\/p>\n

Your Business Information panel holds important information about your business including its name, street address, phone number, and email address. If the business in questions has a Google Business Profile (GBP) page, then this information can be found in Google’s Knowledge Panel.<\/p>\n

When searching nationally for brands like Home Depot without specifying a location, this panel appears. You can use knowledge panels for generic searches too. For this example, we’re looking for Home Depot near us. We can see that these results are pulled directly from Google Business Profile.<\/p>\n
